The story so far: He saved Mary Talbot's life by releasing her earlier than commanded after she had fallen ill in the Tower. Mary was in the Tower because she had insulted the king in public. Since then, he supports Mary and her daughter as best he can. -> Friends
One day Thomas received a letter from Lady Henriette de Longwy from Bavaria, in which she asked him if he could help her with a problem. From this initial willingness to help and friendship, however, became more. Both are now engaged and have a daughter, Liliana.
Mark Smeaton, a young musician, knocked at Thomas' door one day and asked him to help him to find a patron. Thomas supports all the arts and so he promised to help Mark. Since it was not accomplished from today to tomorrow, and Thomas knew how hard it was to earn money as a simple musician, he was the patron of the young man for the time being until he presented Mark Smeaton to Lady Anne Boleyn. Thomas also has a friendly relationship with Mark's girl-friend Agnes.
In regards to Thomas Wyatt, I think I needn't to say much. Thomas keeps Thomas Wyatt always in mind, given the fact that he concidered him as a son. Sometimes Thomas can not resist and reminds Wyatt of his weaknesses, and above all his debts he accumulates through his constantly gamblings. Thomas truely cares for Wyatt.
And then there are also William Francis, a young man who is in the service of Thomas as Spy. But Thomas also feels responsible for him, given the fact that this boy is still young and gets often in trouble. William can't think about his actions and the effects of them and therefore he gets often lectures from Thomas.

Of course I know that Thomas Cromwell never had re-married, but I want to show his human face, for he was also just a human being... even if there are people who don't think so. Also Thomas can be funny, it is known that he owned a very dry humour. If I have something more - what doesn't want to come in my mind at the moment - I will post it here.
