Elizabeth was born 1514 AD as a daughter to Thomas and Josephine Walsh in the Walsh house close to the center of London. Her life had a promising start, her father was a merchant and earned enough money to give his family a good life and if things had stayed as they were, she would have had a much easier life.
However not more than 7 years after her birth her life changed drastically as tragedy hit the family. Her father died through an illness he had caught, and her mother died soon after, on broken heart like she was told later. From then on Elizabeth lived in the house of her uncle. He had not the wealth his brother had gained over the years through being a merchant and he was a different kind of man. Yes Francis Walsh had never lived an happy life, every knock down he recieved pushed him deeper down in depression. If it had not been for the fact that he had been the older of the Walsh brothers and the fact that he inherited his fathers Tavern, with the lovely name 'Creaking Willow', he would not even have considered taking his brothers daughter into his house.
But like this and through the talking of his wife Isabell, Elizabeth was saved from becoming a child without any family.
The first years with her uncle and her aunt were the hardest for little Elizabeth, because they of course had not taken her without thoughts in the back of her mind, they needed someone to help them with the Tavern and if they let Elizabeth do the work, they did not need to pay her money and the little food they gave her was not really a loss.
In the first months Elizabeth often was rebellious, she thought the way she was treated was terrible, however, she soon learned violently, that her uncle and her aunt were nobody to discuss with.
They also weren't very forgiving if she made mistakes, often she was beaten by her uncle until she fell to the ground, especially when he again had drunken too much alcohol.
After this first years however, life grew a bit easier, not as easy as she had it when she was still living with her parents, but still, as soon as she had learned her duties, and the things she should or shouldn't do, she was relatively save from her relatives attacks, only seldom - when he had drunken - her uncle still hit the girl, who tried her best to evade those attacks. She was working like a servant for them and later also began her work as a bar-maid.
Not so long ago her life has changed again, because now that she is old enough, like her aunt and uncle say, they have seen a new way to earn more money, they want Elizabeth to offer her body to well paying customers, so far Elizabeth has avoided to do that, but who knows what the future will bring...
