Pheasant gardens - pheasants would have been kept at court, and released for sport so the King could hunt them. Henry VIII also kept falcons (hawks, birds of prey - gorgeous animals), but i'm not sure at which palace he kept them, nor am i sure where the pheasant gardens were exactly, but ya Katharina, you can open a thread no problem.
I constantly confuse what chapels were where as well, Kings Chapel and the Chapel Royal in particular!

Well ya I just read on the Tudors wiki that whitehall had that pheasant-yard place ... however I did not want to open a thread because I wasn't sure if they were part of the garden that already has a thread... so ya will open the thread as soon as my char goes there.... xD but as a picture I will just randomly use a picture of a pheasant I find
